The Wounded Warrior Battalion – East was formally activated on 29 June 2007 and is one of two battalions under the Wounded Warrior Regiment. Located at Quantico, VA, the Regiment falls under the umbrella of Manpower and Reserve Affairs at HQMC. II MEF is the supported command. WWBn-E is supported logistically by MCB Camp Lejeune.
