WEBMASTER'S CORNER

Updated: 11-05

Needless to say, the last update to the page was Oct 14th -- eons ago in UNITAS time. The webmaster computer crashed and although we do not have a webmaster computer yet, we have managed to update the webpage. Two of the videos are now working and we have e-mailed the rest of the videos to Lejeune and Marine Forces Reserves in the hope that we can just hyperlink to their servers and see the videos -- finally. We are almost done with the Exercise and we are currently training with the Brazilians.  Since we last updated the webpage we crossed the Straits of Magellan and came back into the Atlantic, trained with the Argentineans, then went to do a "mini-bilat" with the Uruguayans followed by some needed liberty in Buenos Aires.  Yes, we did have a problem in Buenos Aires, we were kept from going into the port due to a chemical spill at the pier so the Buenos Aires Liberty almost was cancelled, but thanks to the diligence of our leaders, we were all able to get some "libo" in B.A. and buy all our loved ones leather jackets and handbags, etc. etc.  We are all now looking forward to the Marine Corps Ball, and finally the second to the last leg before we are home.

Video Help

Soon, we will have the videos at the Lejeune or MarforRes servers so we might be able to do a hyperlink to them. When opening  up the videos right click on the hyperlink and choose Open With and pick Quicktime and hopefully that should work.  I had an e-mail a couple of weeks ago that said one of the videos is working -- the AAv Launch, and there's another one that runs for a few seconds before it crashes.  I appreciate all the help I am getting from you all. Also, please let me know what other things you would like to see on the webpage.
