Marine Corps Systems Command is in the process of procuring replacement Construction Shop Sets for the outdated shop sets. Prior to investing in these new kits, we are looking for feedback on the changes and/or adjustments needed for the shop sets in order to best suit the MAGTFs future requirements. Our review indicates that the SL-3s (links below for reference) had significant overlap. ECOE is recommending that the sets be consolidated into one set that is updated and better suited for future expeditionary concepts. In addition to the individual tools, the T/E allocations are being reviewed. Please provide recommendations on the proper numbers per type of engineer unit via the form below.
