Here are some advantages of becoming a member of the FCPOA: 1. Community Involvement on
your evals. (we know how
competitive they are) 2. Make a difference in someone's
life. It just may be your
own. 3. Get to know your fellow
First Classes. ( We can get
things done faster and better if you knew someone) 4. Do things in our
community and let them know we as the FCPOA want to make our community
stronger. (Do you know anyone on
the city counsel, Do they know you, they are asking for our help, are you
willing to?) 5. Just have a whole lot of
fun doing things. Do I need
to expound on that one? 6. Pass on a legacy for our up and coming sailors. ( I hear the sea stories of the way the FCPOA used to be, and you know…… we are going to have a few to tell ourselves. So come on out and participate, you never know you might be the subject of a sea story or two.) |

HM1 Gatcombe is looking at the various local events and participation therein. We will need MAXIMUM input and participation for either of these things to happen. What would we like to do?? When?? Where do Proceeds go?? etc.... I will have a complete listing of all local events for this year at the next meeting. We need to get on the ball if we are going to do anything.
