Air Program Information Management System (APIMS) |
|

APIMS is the Air Program Information Management System. APIMS is part of an oracle database developed for the US Air Force called Command Core System. Command Core is used to manage environmental, safety, and occupational health data.
Camp Lejeune has implemented APIMS because it provides an integrated information system that stores data necessary to comply with Title V of the 1990 Clean Air Act, and Toxic Release Inventory or TRI reporting requirements. APIMS stores data for air emission source categories, individual emission sources, emission source equipment and control devices, algorithms needed to calculate emissions, and specific air quality permit requirements. APIMS is being used at Camp Lejeune to calculate air emissions for required annual facility emissions inventories as well as to manage Title V Permit monitoring, record keeping, and reporting requirements.
Personnel who operate air emission sources at Camp Lejeune
and Marine Corps Air Station, New River will receive one-on-one over the
shoulder training at their computers on how to enter air quality data into the
APIMS system via the intranet. Written
step-by-step instructions will also be distributed and will also be maintained
on this site by the Air Quality Program.
The system can be accessed by personnel who have been assigned an user name and password through a special website maintained by the Camp Lejeune Geographic Information Systems (GIS) office at:
You can take advantage of other geographic information and data stored by the GIS office in a similar format at their main site:
